Sending Email in Office 2007

Is it just me or should the "send" button be where the "paste" button is? I almost click "paste" every time I'm about to send an email. Anyone else have this problem?

As a side-note… Word 2007 is awesome for blogging. It just works.

Agreed - I've thought the same thing since I've started using Outlook 2007.

Why I remember this I don't know but I remember seeing a comment on Jensen Harris's blog about this (see the comments at http://blogs.msdn.com/jensenh/archive/2006/09/14/754682.aspx). Anyway, his words are "so that you can send regardless of what tab you're on or if the Ribbon is minimized or not."

It still throws me off but I just got used to using Alt+S to send and it doesn't bother me as much.

I guess that makes sense... but he said that I would get used to it in a couple of days... it's been a couple of weeks :-) Yes, I do sometimes use Alt+S or Ctrl+Enter to send. Maybe I should convert to being keyboard only.

Glad to hear I'm not alone. The screen shot was modified by Word 2007 to get the 3D effect. I plan to blog about it soon.
